The aim of Vardar Eurus AS is to develop, invest, own and operate plants for the production of renewable energy in the Baltic States and in Northwest Russia. All investments are made through the Estonian subsidiary Nelja Energia, where Vardar Eurus has an ownership interest of 77 per cent.
Due to the lack of a regulatory framework, no investments have yet been made in Northwest Russia.

The main areas of business of Nelja Energia AS are the development of renewable energy industry and the operation of power production. Nelja (Estonian word for four) refers to focus on four renewable energy sources - wind, water, biomass and solar. The Group has following structure:
Nelja Energia has by the end of 2016 a market share of almost 40% of the renewable energy production from wind in the Baltic market.
